The display support team consists of specialists in mechanical, avionics, engines and weapons which come from ESTA 15.007 Maintenance unit.
Only 4 technicians, from 35 engineering technicians and engineering RSD support team, come for each airshows and are responsible for engineering standards and safety.
The ease of support has driven Rafale design very early and drastically reduced its logistic footprint for simple deployability.
Clever technologies have been favored to limit the manpower :
_ Comprehensive and accurate integrated testability covers all aircraft systems,
_ No run-up after engine change:
_ Accurate and comprehensive testability features allows targeted replacements to be made on the flight line and all flight line operations can be carried out by a single technician.
